N The Scene exists because the scene deserves a site that treats a release like breaking news, not a backlog. When a track drops today, the Blegh List gets it today — metalcore, alt-metal, and blegh only. When a tour is announced, it is on the calendar the same day. That is the whole pitch.
You will find four things here: same-day drops (new and upcoming), the Blegh List on Spotify, editorial charts built by people who actually go to shows, and a tour calendar for the bands you already care about.
Everything on the charts is editorial. We are not pretending to be a sales chart, and we are not selling positions. If you are an emerging artist, the Band Drop List form is the way in. Free submissions are read by a human. Featured and Premier tiers exist so we can keep the lights on without touching the rankings.
