How the Blegh List works
Today's releases only, metalcore/alt-metal/blegh, and a standing invitation to emerging bands.
The Blegh List is our flagship Spotify playlist: New Metalcore 2026. Only tracks released today get added — no backfill, no weekly batch, no genre tourism. A surprise Tuesday single and a Friday album cut both qualify if they land today.
The top of the list is reserved for the newest adds. Older tracks slide down over a few weeks and eventually cycle out so the playlist never turns into a museum.
We take unsigned and independent submissions seriously. Email a streaming link to emerging@nthescene.com or use the Band Drop List form. Every free submission is heard by a person. Featured and Premier options give you a guaranteed reply and placement on the site, but they do not buy a chart position.
