Bad Omens and ERRA finally share a track
Specter pairs Noah Sebastian and JT Cavey. The crossover the group chats asked for.
Bad Omens released Specter with ERRA in February 2025, the first proper new Bad Omens material since the Concrete Jungle project. It is exactly the collaboration people wanted: Noah Sebastian's cinematic register against JT Cavey's mid-range grit, over a riff that sounds like both bands at once.
It also reads as a signal. Bad Omens have said nothing about a full-length, and Specter leans heavier than anything on Concrete Jungle, which should calm anyone who feared the remix project was the new direction. The fourth album on our upcoming list is an editorial placeholder until the band says otherwise.
It went straight onto the Blegh List the morning it dropped.
